Aztek Technologies (1984) Ltd. was founded in 1984 by Joel Salzman and Akiva Tekuzener. The company was for many years a distributor of computer hardware, before focusing on the marketing of software products.

In 2001, Aztek was appointed one of only four companies in Israel authorized by Microsoft to offer licensing solutions for its products to the institutional market.

Today Aztek is the country’s largest reseller of Microsoft products with a market share of more than 60% of Enterprise Agreements (licensing agreements with large institutional customers).

The company is still owned by its founders.

Aztek Technologies’ expertise is offering licensing solutions from the world’s largest software manufacturers including, first and foremost, Microsoft. The company is the largest software reseller in Israel, whose principal activities lie in marketing licensing solutions to large customers, i.e., those with more than 500 PC users. The company recently was named a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner for licensing solutions.

In 2007, Aztek was appointed as the authorized distributor in Israel and other countries in the region for Microsoft’s SaaS (Software as a Service) products –offering the leasing of Microsoft applications.

Aztek is also the country’s largest reseller of software to SMBs (small and medium-size businesses), both for Microsoft and additional companies such as: Symantec (Norton); Adobe, Mcafee (anti-virus), and many other vendors.

Rate of Growth

Over the past five years the software marketing activities of Aztek Technologies have grown over fivefold.

Sales Network

The company’s sales network comprises two main departments:

Enterprise Department – specializing in handling large companies and institutions, each possessing more than 500 PCs.

SMB Department – specializing in handling small and medium-sized businesses. These operations typically involve organizations with approximately 100-200 PC users.

The Customer First

The company’s marketing philosophy is based on the premise that all customers, large and small, must be provided with personalized one-on-one service, a single address for every client, backed up by a human and software network.
